As part of our new artist collaboration series 8 Months 8 Artists for 8 Ball Community, we are releasing a collaboration with Nick Sethi. We have joined forces with COME TEES by LA-based artist Sonya Sombreuil to launch this collective effort. Each month we will be releasing a new collaboration with a new artist.
Dylan Camp, from Nashville, is now living and creating on the East Coast.
Living in America, this shirt is not only a reflection of this land but also a mirror of how not just women but all humans, from all walks and backgrounds have come together for centuries to curate and mend our different environments and creations around us, to form our own versions of ‘art’, that we constantly share with our culturally mixed environments.
Due to restrictions caused by Covid-19 we were forced to cancel our annual fundraiser at Mission Chinese Food in Chinatown. To address our ongoing community needs, cultural programming, all-volunteer staff, and our exhibition space, this fundraising effort 8 Months 8 Artists for 8 Ball Community taps vital members of our artist's family to each create a limited-edition shirt designed on their respective ideas of Community.
8-Ball Community will be donating a portion of the sales from each collaboration to a nonprofit organization of the artist's choice. This month, Dylan has chosen Community Solidarity, NYC’s largest vegetarian hunger-relief organization, cooking vegan meals, and sharing groceries with 6,000 people each week.
